Hello there again readers!
We have a question for you.
Have you ever want to say something to
someone, but you don’t have the guts to say so? So you just say anything that
pops into your head at the moment?
Yes, we feel you. It’s horrible, plus,
messy. It makes you say to yourself, “WHY THE H**L DID I SAY THAT??!”. Been
there, done that. List checked!
So, there’s a saying which says that “people
don’t often say what they mean, and mean what they say”. Do you agree with
this?
In our opinion, what matters the most is
what you mean in your HEART. Even if you cannot utter the correct words or
sentences, it is what you mean that matters most from your own true heart.
However, there are times when you need to
say things just to establish and maintain the relationship between people
around you, your circle of friends, your colleagues. But actually, you don’t
even mean some compliments that you give to them (don’t lie, you have done this
at least once in your life). You just say things to make they feel happy, for
instance:
Friend 1: *showed a new shawl that she just
bought*
“hey
what do you think of my new shawl?”
Friend 2: …..nice…. (?)
Friend 1: Thanks…. But, do you really mean
it?
Friend 2: umm…. Yeah……… (?)
You see? Friend 2 just say it in order to
please her friend. People tend to listen to what they want to hear, not what they
need to hear. Others might think that you are being so blunt and very straightforward in
saying the truth, but it’s better than insincerely being pleased by others,
right? You don’t need those honey-marshmallow-caramel-coated words to live your
life!
Lastly, if you wanna say what you really
mean, remember to always use the right words and do not be rude. Use the
correct way in delivering your messages! All the best!
